Intoxicated Man Arrested In Wake Of Disturbance During Court Proceedings

   A local man was arrested late last week after he allegedly caused a disturbance during court proceedings.

   Reports filed through the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department indicate that John Douglas Mulvaney, Jr., age 46, caused a disturbance while court was in session. Reporting officers indicated that Mulvaney was found to be under the influence of alcohol, “And that his intoxication was responsible for the disturbance.”

   Deputies noted that Mulvaney had appeared in court Friday to answer previous charges of drug possession and DUI.  He was additionally charged with one count of public intoxication charge.
