Fund Grant For Loretto Pool Has Been Increased

Press release

Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation Recreation Educational Services Director Gerald Parish has notified the City of Loretto that their Parks and Recreation Fund grant has been increased from $125,000 to $250,000.

Along with the required 50% grant match by the City, a total of $500,000 will be available for the construction of a new pool.

Loretto Mayor Jesse Turner stated, “This adds to the excitement of the initial grant announcement for the City of Loretto.  We would like to thank Governor Haslam, State Representative Barry Doss, TDEC Commissioner Bob Martineau, and RES Director Gerald Parish for recognizing our city’s need and desire for a new pool facility.  We are committed to building a facility that will serve Loretto well and will be a focal point for our city.”
