Items Reported Stolen From Infant’s Grave

   An investigation was initiated during the weekend after parents discovered that several items had been stolen off of their infant son’s grave

   The parents reported the theft to Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies Sunday after visiting to the gravesite in Houser Cemetery on Waterloo Road.

They said that several Mickey Mouse items, including figurines, wind chimes, and solar landscape lights, had gone missing sometime between July 13 and 20. The items have an estimated value of $140.

   Anyone who has information regarding the theft is encouraged to contact the sheriff’s department at 931-762-3626.
