Irate Customer Rips Down Sign

A customer who became irate while speaking with an employee Saturday night reportedly ripped down a sign as he left the building.

According to reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department officers responded to O'Reilly's Auto Parts, 1815 North Locust Avenue, just before 9:00 p.m.

The night manager reported that the customer had been engaged in an argument with an employee over the price of an oil product.

The manager said he spoke with the man and told him he would make a deal with him. He said the man cursed at him then left, ripping a sign from the front door that read, "Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed."

The manager said that as the man was walking to his truck he informed him that he was going to report the incident to police officers. He said the man then threw the sign to the ground, got into his truck, and left.

Officers report they attempted to make contact with the man through a phone number he had given. They said that the call was answered by a woman who said she did not know the man.
