July 4 Closings Announced

   In observance of the Independence Day holiday, a number of area businesses and government offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2008. Some of those include:  area banks, business offices of Lawrence County Government, business offices of the cities of Lawrenceburg, Loretto, Ethridge, St. Joseph, and Iron City, and the landfill on Baler Drive.

*PLEASE NOTE:  City of Lawrenceburg officials remind residents that there will be no garbage pickup on July 4. Those whose normal day for pickup is Friday are advised to put their garbage carts at the curb instead on Thursday, July 3. They request that carts be placed at the curb as early as possible, as this will be a double pickup day.
