Lawrenceburg Council To Meet Thursday
Members of the governing board of the City of Lawrenceburg are scheduled to meet in regular session Thursday morning to consider only a couple items of business.
Appearing on the agenda for the bi-monthly meeting of the Lawrenceburg Board of Mayor and Council is Ordinance 1052. The ordinance is: an ordinance to amend ordinance 1042 entitled Appropriations of Revenue and Expenditures for the 2008-2009 fiscal year for the City of Lawrenceburg, to appropriate funding for the incentive retirement package offered employees. The ordinance is to be presented for second and final reading.
Also, council members are scheduled to consider a single resolution during the meeting. That resolution is: a resolution for the board of mayor and council of the
City of Lawrenceburg to enter into a contract with the State of Tennessee for the sweeping of state streets within the city limits of Lawrenceburg, and other street and/or right of way maintenance agreements.
The meeting, which is open to the public, is scheduled to get underway at 8:30 a.m. inside the commission meeting room inside the Lawrenceburg City Administration Building on West Gaines Street.
