Monday Crime Report

Burglary

Deputies spoke with a resident of Sayles Circle Sunday. She reported that her Samsung 55” flat screen television was missing from her home. Reports show that someone made entry to the home through a window and then exited through a door. Loss was estimated at $500.

Theft

An Aaron Branch Road resident reported to deputies Saturday that an acquaintance had stolen prescription medications from his home. He reported that hydrocodone and nortripline pills were missing. He told deputies that he had allowed the acquaintance to stay at his home while he was gone and returned to discover the theft.

Theft

A resident of Bishop Road reported a hand gun missing on Friday. The owner reported that his .22 caliber Beretta hand gun had been left in the glove compartment in his wife’s car. He said he last saw it about six months before. He told deputies that the car is not driven much and that they keep it locked at all times. He is uncertain when it might have been taken. The gun has a value of $525.

Theft

Police officers made their way to a Mahr Avenue home Friday to investigate thefts of a Honda EY3000I portable generator and a boy’s 20” orange and silver bicycle. The victim reported the items had been stolen from her yard. They were valued at $2,100.

Vandalism

Officers were dispatched to investigate vandalism at a storage facility on Mahr Avenue on Saturday. The owner reported that rollup doors on two storage buildings had sustained damage. Officers noted that it appeared the doors had been kicked. Damages totaled around $500.
