Traffic Flow To Be Reversed Along Section Of Columbia Avenue
Under action taken by Lawrenceburg leaders Thursday morning traffic flow along a section of Columbia Avenue will soon be reversed.
Members of the Lawrenceburg City Council approved the ordinance on first reading, allowing a change in traffic flow on North Columbia Avenue, between East Gaines Street (Highway 64) and Pulaski Street.
While the one-way street currently allows vehicles to travel south to north along this section, council members have opted to change that, requiring traffic to flow from north to south.
Second and final reading on the ordinance is expected to take place at the council’s April 10 meeting.
