Three Charged In Home Invasion

Press release

On March 4, 2014 deputies responded to a home invasion on Long Branch Road, Lawrenceburg, TN.  Deputies report talking to a subject in a black smaller pickup truck but at that time did not see anything that linked him to the crime.

The victim reported two males dressed in camouflage, wearing gloves and a mask kicked in her door taking her purse and its contents.  The victim suffered minor injury but did not require medical treatment.

Investigators began to follow leads regarding this case with special attention to the male subject, identified by deputies as Max Pinto, who was seen in the area during the incident.

Investigators were able to gather evidence in the case linking Pinto, 22 of 2112 Springer Road Apt. F-43, Lawrenceburg, TN, to the crime as well as two other male subjects.  Zachary William Yarbrough, 23 of 813 Irvin St., Loretto, TN and Terry Walker Pope, 20 of 394 Hudson Road, Lawrenceburg, TN are the two subjects who were at the house on Long Branch Road and kicked in the door.

Pinto is believed to be the driver, but had knowledge of the incident before it occurred.  Yarbrough and Pope are both charged with Aggravated Burglary, Robbery, Theft over $1,000, and Assault and are currently being held without bond at the Lawrence County Detention Center.

They are scheduled for a bond hearing on March 7, 2014 in General Sessions Court of Lawrence County.  Pinto is being charged with Criminal Responsibility of Aggravated Burglary, Criminal Responsibility of Robbery and Criminal Responsibility of Theft over $1,000 and he too is being held without bond at the Lawrence County Detention Center.

The investigation into this matter is still ongoing and more evidence in this case is expected to be gathered in coming days.
