Tuesday Crime Report

Vandalism                                                                
A resident of North Church Avenue in Ethridge summoned Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies to his home Sunday after he discovered he had been targeted by vandals. The victim reported he had returned home to discover that all four side windows and the rear window had been busted out of his 1998 Ford Ranger truck. The victim said that he had spoken to neighbors, but that no one had noticed any suspicious activity. Damages were estimated to total $525.
Vandalism

Deputies were called to a location off of South Ore Road in the West Point area Saturday where a resident reported vandalism to a trailer. The victim reported that someone had shot eight tires on a log trailer. Shortly before, he said he had discovered several taillights had been busted on the trailer, as well. Altogether damages were estimated at $2,100.

Theft

Deputies investigated a theft from a Dry Weakley Road, Ethridge home on Saturday. The victim reported that someone had made off with a concrete lion that had been placed at the entrance of her driveway. She said that she last saw the lion around 8:30 the previous night. She noticed it was missing at around 6:30 a.m. Loss is estimated to be $50.

Vandalism

Deputies were dispatched to investigate a vandalism incident at Center Grove Church of God on Center Grove Road Sunday. Church officials reported that the damage was done sometime after February 19. The culprit had spun their tires in the grass and parking lot, causing approximately $300 worth of damage.
