Arrest Made In December Burglary Of Holland’s Drugs
A Lawrenceburg man has been jailed on charges related to a burglary that occurred last month at Holland’s Drug store.
Lawrenceburg Police officers were called to the business, located at 11 Public Square, on December 21 after employees discovered that a hole had been cut through the roof above a storage area. They found that a ladder had been positioned directly beneath the hole.
The person responsible apparently fled from the scene after tripping the security alarm. Nothing was missing from the store, however damages were said to total $300.
According to a press release issued Tuesday, department detectives were able to identify the suspect in the case as twenty-one year old Nathaniel Dwayne Lyle.
Lyle was arrested on one count of burglary and one count of vandalism, then incarcerated at the Lawrence County Detention Center under a $7,000 bond.
Lyle is slated to answer the charges in General Sessions Court on March 5, 2015.
